About us

We are Alexandra and Baptiste, two engineers from Toulouse, France. After crossing the Atlantic with the ARC+ 2024, we arrived in the Caribbean to launch The Yacht Mate, a dedicated yacht maintenance and repair service.

With 24 years of engineering combined, Baptiste specializes in maintenance and machine design, while Alexandra brings expertise in field operations and technical project management.

We now live aboard Oxane, our Outremer 49, fully refitted by ourselves. Equipped with professional tools and spare parts, we provide reliable, on-site service wherever your yacht is, at anchor or in port.

Our services include:

• Mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnostics and maintenance

• Engine servicing

• Underwater intervention, including hull cleaning

• Mast and rigging inspections

We offer tailored, flexible solutions to meet the specific needs of each yacht and owner.
